Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project entails a building addition to the existing North Hospital Building located at 22 S. Greene St. The project site contains a Limit of Disturbance of 0.884 acres. The proposed building addition to the North Hospital Building will be installed over the current main entrance drive. Additionally, the project proposes thorough renovations within the existing building.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide a green roof area of 0.111 acres resulting in Impervious Area reduction; however, the total required impervious area can’t be treated because of site constraints. A fee-in-lieu has been received for the remaining untreated area of 0.269 acres.
