Prequalification for City of Baltimore (OBC)

DPW’s Office of Boards and Commissions (OBC) is open to the public and will continue providing assistance to prequalify firms. REMEMBER: Any Consultant, who desire to participate on a Project for a TEAM submittal must be prequalified prior to the Prime Consultant or Joint Venture (JV) submittal. Any Contractor who desires to participate as a subcontractor for a Prime Contractors, must be prequalified two (2) weeks prior to commencement of work. Applications for both Consultants and Contractors must be received 35 business days prior to become prequalified. All construction-related contractors and design consultants bidding to perform services of $50,000 or more must be prequalified by The Office of Boards and Commissions (OBC).
In order to become prequalified, consultants and contractors must submit completed applications that are reviewed by OBC to ensure the applicants have the technical capability and financial capacity to perform satisfactory work for the City.
