Application for Redevelopment Waiver
The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver. If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate Limit of Disturbance of 1.40 acres and is bordered by Kirk Ave, Cecil Ave. and Worsley Street. The project will consist of revitalization of open space and playground areas associated with the existing elementary school. Some (not all-inclusive) proposed work to be done is the installation of new playground equipment, creation of a walking track, pavilion area and patio area as well as the installation of stormwater management facilities.
The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code. The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver. The project will provide water quality measures to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.30 acres of this project.
