Greens at Irvington

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works, in coordination with Enterprise Homes, Inc. is accepting public review and comments for a request to issue an Administrative Waiver and Qualitative Control Waiver to the City Code for a new development project on the property located at 4300 Frederick Avenue.

Notice is hereby given that the public is invited to comment on the request by Enterprise Homes, Inc., for an Administrative Waiver to the requirements of the City Code which will allow the Storm Water Management for this site to be addressed through Administrative Waiver and a Qualitative Control Waiver which will allow the Storm Water Management for this site to be addressed through Qualitative Control Waiver. The Preliminary Project Approval was granted on April 19, 2010. Comments on the request for the Administrative Waiver and Qualitative Control Waiver must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 22, 2011, to ensure consideration by the Department.

The Greens at Irvington elderly housing development proposes the construction of a multi-story building for Housing for the Elderly. Additional associated improvements include:

  • Construction of a parking lot
  • Extending the 5’ wide sidewalk on South Woodington Road to the property line
  • Additional site improvements, including rehabilitation and adaptation of the existing site

In order to meet the 2010 Baltimore City SWM Ordinance requirements for the proposed improvements, an Administrative Waiver that will allow the project to be governed by the provisions of Division II, as in effect on May 4, 2010, and a Qualitative Control Waiver must be granted by the Department.
